Rodolfo Goncalves was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 2004 he took a leap of faith, moving himself to New York City.
Ever since childhood, Rodolfo expressed his creativity in ways that set him apart from other children his age. While kindergarteners scribbled an explosion of squiggly lines on a piece of paper, Rodolfo pained exceptionally detailed works of art on canvases. Photos and paintings he created at the age of 8 adorn the walls of his home back in Brazil to this day. Today, he continues to apply his appreciation of the arts with another one of his greatest passions: baking.
Although he never considered baking as a profession, a time came where he grew tired of seeing beautiful, intricately decorated cakes that looked astounding on the outside but were dry and tasteless on the inside. While strongly believing that a cake should taste as good as it looks, he went on to create his own recipe, allowing him to make both possible.
With all his dreams falling into place, he already has his next goal in mind. As a huge fan of Formula 1 Race Car Driving, Rodolfo dreams to one day be able to design and bake a life sized replica cake of a Formula 1 race car.

We weren’t given the title of “Best Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookie in Town” for no reason!
